dannythefox Posted 21 December 2010 Posted 21 December 2010 Good player, he had a great season last year but hes starting to look his age now. Wish him all the best he always put in 100% i think pearson will be intouch!
RedHux Posted 21 December 2010 Posted 21 December 2010 Bruno BERNER - i think has been fantastic for us over the last couple of seasons, good luck to him wherever he goes (unless its F***st) Won't be us, we're after signing Bertrand full time and some Norwegian bloke (Jonathan Parr) in that position. I've always thought it a mark of a decent chap when he can say he wants away and the fans support him and wish him well.
Salieri Posted 21 December 2010 Posted 21 December 2010 He'll do a Solano And do what? Learn the trumpet?
adamkhalifa Posted 21 December 2010 Posted 21 December 2010 Would be a real shame to see Berner leave. Unlucky to have been droppped in the first place. Intelligent, and my favourite player of recent times.
Scow Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 It's a shame because he's a better defender than Cunningham, but he doesn't have the required pace to play in this high up the pitch pressing game. He was suited to Pearson's style, which employed a deeper defensive line and kept the game compact. However, West Brom really exposed him, especially as he had to deal with Barnes with little defensive help in the 4-3-3 set-up. The situation worsened when the game became stretched owing to us chasing the game.
