Brainy Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 probably bullshit anyway, i cant see any links/quotes in this thread confirming it.
Maybes Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Ticket prices probably around the £40-£50. Not sure I would fancy a trip the emirates at those prices in all honestly.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 If promoted, I'd fancy Arsenal to be a good away day but at those prices I would think twice. Not as if that league is short of London away days.
Zingari Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 you can get a lot of meat and potato pies in wigan for that sort of dosh it's a no brainer
CosbehFox Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Really don't get the Wigan hate, ten years ago Third Division playing with four figures watching them...the club has to start somewhere to build it support. The likes of Stoke wind me up more...13k in a windy, empty stadium...Premiership, it's full every week and the best atmosphere in the division.

The rimming they get from Sky Sports et al for the atmosphere they create is infuriating considering they'll most probably go back down to 14/15k a week when relegated. Wigan are never going to be a big club with huge support but they're in the Premiership on merit. Being below a club of Wigan's size in the league pyramid may be a bitter pill to swallow but we're all where we deserve to be right now.

syston_fox Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 No. Reasonable prices for top flight football, lots of their fans stand, noisy atmosphere....
