Kent Posted 10 February 2011 Posted 10 February 2011 Oh, and you might get caught in the middle of a cyclone at any time... or a flood... or a bush fire.

StanSP Posted 10 February 2011 Posted 10 February 2011 Of the Australian Foxes on here, I have 2 pieces of advice,... If you meet ACF, you'll be fine. He's a good lad. If you meet Socceroo Fox, however, watch your guard and watch out for any sexual activities he might randomly perform on you.

February is the hottest month, well its meant to be anyway. Watch out for natural disasters. Weather in Melbourne can change at the drop of a hat. As the saying goes, if you dont like the weather in Melbourne, wait five minutes. Uluru, GB Reef are the must do's. You must at any chance reference Tasmania as being incest, and Adelaide as bogan scum. And in Melbourne, stay awawy from Frankston, or 'Franga' as it is commonly known around here. Bogan city, plus RooFox is from around there.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 February 2011 Posted 11 February 2011 Just stay away from Franga, Springy and Dandy, and anyone will be fine! Broady, Footscray actual any where north or West of Melbourne for that matter
ACF Posted 11 February 2011 Posted 11 February 2011 Broady, Footscray actual any where north or West of Melbourne for that matter I'm just gunna stay in Glenny. Nice and safe Glenny.
Footballscoutaustralia Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Beware of Crocodiles if you go North. For some reason............................... Americans, Germans and the English like to put themselves on the menu for the Australian Saltwater Crocodile. I've heard it's because the Americans have no clue. And the Germans know everything so cant be told. Not 100% sure why the English offer themselves so willingly?.
ACF Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Because its water in the warmth. It's the same reason that English people get pulled into a rip at the beach so often. They don't read the signs.
Matt Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Melbourne > Sydney. Broady, Footscray actual any where north or West of Melbourne for that matter I went Footscray market when I was over at Christmas, all I can say is Wow, It was an experience.
Kent Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Out of interest is anyone from around the Townsville area on here? I understand Australia is a big place and the chances are minimal.
ACF Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Matt , that was a mistake! I don't think anyone is Kent...
Matt Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Matt , that was a mistake! I don't think anyone is Kent... What it was a mistake going? I was took there, If i'm honest and perhaps I wasn't there long enough but it wasn't that bad, but I could see the potential.
ACF Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 You're obviously lucky, you weren't stabbed, mugged, or gang-raped.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 One thing people must do when they come to Aus is see an AFL game best sport in the world...well on par with the round ball game!
Matt Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 One thing people must do when they come to Aus is see an AFL game best sport in the world...well on par with the round ball game! Seen 3 or 4 games, Geelong fan! My first game was Geelong v St Kilda at Kardinia Park. Barry Hall had a big scrap and was banned I think. I saw Collingwood v Geelong (Think it was Collingwood) at 'the G'. They were all in my first trip though so i'm going back 10 years, not seen any games on my other trips but i've always gone in the summer apart from my first time so it's always been close season.
