MATLCFC Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Hi All, Stumbled upon this blog via a link on 606, quite good actually - it features an article to do with Leicester. http://www.j4goalposts.co.uk/england/the-football-bubble-will-it-burst/ I know it's been said our owners are worth £115m but is that personal wealth? I noticed comments stating the business is worth billions, which puts me at ease but, they have said they have already spent more than intended which makes me worry for next season. Anyone know how much King Power the Company is actually worth? Can't seem to find it via google etc.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 I think that it's the other 20% whereby we have more money. Iman Arif works for the Bakrie Family who are Billionaires. I guess that these are the ones with the 'real big money'.. I mean I wouldn't have thought that SGE would be here if we only had owners worth £100m - which isn't big money by todays' standards.
callis Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 i would not worry about this, im sure they can lose another 10 million if needs be providing we get the pl league and then its payday. Also i think the net wealth of the people is 115m not the company it self which with a t/o that they have must make several million pounds profit per year minimum. I am glad we are having a go at this as its the most exciting times i can remeber since i started going to watch the games in 95. I think next yr with sge here all summer and another 10 mil available and more young loanees we will be a force and a favorite for promotion.
Narborough_fox Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 I've read it before £115 million but that doesn't include how much King Power is worth.
brockmyster Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Ive read somewhere not sure where though, that king power is worth £4billion, so not alot

ousefox Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Well about 5 of them including Top and dad were waiting at Scunthorpe station and got on the same train as me, thankfully they went first class, but i'm still suprised they travelled by train.

Would say its a good sign mixing in with the fans and soaking up the away day atmosphere. Top owners.

Yep they were laughing when the heard all the city fans chanting as they came into the station. Suprised how nobody really recognised them apart from myself.

Is suprising, but guess they can mingle with the fans at this moment in time.
Callabinho Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Well vichai is worth $180 million, and arif I have heard a good couple hundred million, as for King power however I am unsure, it must be a fair bit! My guess is between 5 and 10 billion. It will get interesting if we go up,maybe links at petronas might want to join in!
