This could easily be said about the Sousa experiment. Players not listening or not capable of wanting to listen about changing the way they play or techniques of playing. Amazing how readily they were able to adopt these techniques when Sven came along.

Point taken, but I'm not sure that they have. Wasn't it suspected that the likes of Hobbs and Fryatt who were the most disgruntled and these players have been moved on (albeit temporarily in Hobbs case) I'd argue, that rather than being able to persuade the players to adopt the techniques Sousa wanted, that Sven has brought in players who were already used to that style of play.
