For a big bloke he's physically weak, his passing is restricted to 10 yard sideways balls. Doesn't track back, isn't a natural at getting into the opposition box (like Muzzy did), can't/won't tackle, lazy, unable to play the killer pass to unlock the opposition (unlike Hughes), and he's often caught in possession. He probably played well for 10 mins or so in 3 or 4 games last season and other than that he was useless. I think we'd be lucky to get half of what we paid for him, and if he's on the money he's rumoured to be on, then I'd be glad to see he go if it means we can bring in a decent ball winner (not sure about Kisnorbo). 122105[/snapback] You seen him play then? Snik-Snok Posted 11 June 2005 Posted 11 June 2005 No not seen him, just going on what Hearts fans said on various messageboards when we signed him in Jan. They consistently said Maybury was good, and he is, and they consistently said Kisnorbo is nowt special. He wasn't a regular there and played mainly full back and centre back. He may be much more suited to the midfield, time will tell. Thing is, to get out this division teams need to be well organised, competitive and have a goalscorer. We lacked all three last season. It's vital we get a midfield that doesn't get outfought like last year. We need a player that does the job that McKinley, Lennon and Mauchlen have done in the past. Not just a ballwinner but someone that inspires other around him, if Kisnorbo can do it then great otherwise I'd be glad to sacrifice Williams to get someone who can. Williams was poor last year, and unless we change formation then him and Hughes can't play together. Hughes is clearly a better player, so if we get a good offer which means we can get a couple of decent players in, then that'd suit me.
