QPR have had a nominal fee accepted by Villa for Stefan.

Why do I get the feeling, he'll score against us next season?

Upset we've missed out or not?

Looked good against Sunderland, but was poor when I saw him in the reserves.

I dont think its a big shame we didnt try to get him. Saw him when he played against Watford - looked lively on occasions but gave the ball away often too. He's similar to Connolly so there wasn't chance of him staying to play second fiddle to him IMO

I didn't see enough of him to really make a judgement. I trust CL knows what hes doing .

Whenever i saw him though i never really got the feeling that he was a natural goalscorer.

Hardly saw him play so its hard for me to judge, but we don't need another non-scoring striker just because he's young, might as well look elsewhere.

To be honest I didn't think Stefan did anything in the games he appeared in. Granted he only had a limited number of opportunities and wasn't really up to match speed but even so there didn't look to be enough spark to answer our attacking problems.

CL obviously hasn't been prepared to offer either a fee or a deal to Stefan which implies that he feels he can find a better option elsewhere. I'm still convinced that CL knows who he wants and it's just a matter of time before we all know aswell.

I agree with Solihullfox - I wasn't impressed with him whenever I saw him and he didn't do much to stake his claim in the first team. Having said that, he wasn't given much of a chance and when he did come on as a sub Levein stuck him on the left wing for one game. Bizarre.

I don't think we've missed out on a quality player though.

I simply don't think he has the quality - Plenty of pace, but doesn't really have the strength or ability to make much of an impact in a physical league like this.
