Scow Posted 13 July 2004 Posted 13 July 2004 I know there wasn't many, but what was your best moment of last season? I would probably have to say Craig Hignett's equalising goal vs Arsenal in the last minute - We fully deserved to get something out of the game, although the goal came from Arsenal best player up until then. Other moments include beating Leeds and Man City 4-0 and 3-0 respectively. And taking the lead at Arsenal and being 1-0 up at half time - I had a tenner on us to beat Arsenal that day, so I was quite happy at half time. Didn't last though.
Cobbo Posted 13 July 2004 Posted 13 July 2004 Lilian Nalis' opening goal against Leeds! watching on tv, thought he'd forkied it up...when it hit the net ooooooooooooooooo yes! orgasmic.
Scow Posted 13 July 2004 Author Posted 13 July 2004 i'd say half-time against wolves! Right, where are those razor blades......

Mark Posted 13 July 2004 Posted 13 July 2004 Leeds game obviously. Man City game also though, 3-0 at their place was a great result. And Portsmouth win. Lets just say November
gagandeep Posted 13 July 2004 Posted 13 July 2004 Leeds game obviously. Man City game also though, 3-0 at their place was a great result. And Portsmouth win. Lets just say November that was a wll good month, i can rememeber thinking to myself we are only 9 points of charlton who are fourth before the birmingham game at home. i actually though we'd win that 3/4-0 i thought we would finish top 10, after november, how stupid i was i thought the turning point of the season was december, losing to everton when we were ahead, drawing to bolton when we were ahead, drawing against newcaslte in the least minute! the atmosphere was the worst btw i have seen all seaon aginst newcastle. i was ashamed, we should have backed the team more as a crowd, to make the walkers a fortress.
Ash Posted 13 July 2004 Posted 13 July 2004 I have three 1.The first half against Southampton(Strange i know but it was brillaint for me) 2.Leeds 4-0 at home 3.When we beat Brum away 1-0
Guest Guest Posted 13 July 2004 Posted 13 July 2004 I have three1.The first half against Southampton(Strange i know but it was brillaint for me) 2.Leeds 4-0 at home 3.When we beat Brum away 1-0 i'd say the 1st 10 mins against southampton, the team were dominating and playing attacking football!! we saw what would happen for the rest of the seaon in that game. score lots of goals have a brilliant defence.... ......until the last 5 mins
dan_84 Posted 13 July 2004 Posted 13 July 2004 barcalona. at times ripped them to bits. gillespie was outstanding, as was nalis
kerryh Posted 14 July 2004 Posted 14 July 2004 I remember my crappiest moment last season! - Villa at home, oh the pain. Leeds (Home) was a great game as was Birmingham away - (I remember thinking we'll be alright after that win!) - foolish girl!

We were also behind at Bolton and scored in the last minute to snatch a point... But my favorite moment without a doubt has to be Hignetts goal vs Arsenal.
Ricey Posted 14 July 2004 Posted 14 July 2004 Has to be Leeds at home for me, great performance and I honestly thought a top half finish would be easy.......hmm.
Scow Posted 14 July 2004 Author Posted 14 July 2004 I somehow forgot about the Birmingham game! I wasn't there, but was watching at the beamback. The support from our fans that day was magnificent.
gagandeep Posted 14 July 2004 Posted 14 July 2004 I somehow forgot about the Birmingham game! I wasn't there, but was watching at the beamback. The support from our fans that day was magnificent. i was at the beam back too, i knew we were going to win for some reason. i can rememebr the commentator being a bisaed tw@At. sayin birmingham were out-of-sorts.
Teeno Posted 14 July 2004 Posted 14 July 2004 Either Man City away or Birmingham away. I can't chose home games as they aren't half as good as away. I was at both of these matches and at Man City we played outstanding and deserved the win, it was a fortnight after the Wolves game and no one expected us to even draw but, the result was amazing and us City fans support was awsome. The Birmingham game, we didn't actually playto great but the occasion made it an amazing game and winning that game ment so much at that time. That day was probably the best I've ever heard our fans and it was day i wont forget in a hurry.
