broughtonblue Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 A lad at work is a cov season ticket holder, he sits directly behind the goal about half way up in what is the equivalent of our kop. His season ticket renewal for this year is £268, a drop of £110 from last year. They are obviously trying to increase attendance, good business or desperation?
Guest Bilo Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 Bit of both. Needs must there these days and their attendances have been collapsing for years, lowering prices can't hurt. Ambitions and expectations are low so they can't get away with charging £400 for what will almost certainly be a relegation battle.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 If they need to avoid Administration they probably need to generate as much cash as possible especially as the off season is here and no chance of making quick coin off gate reciepts. Also get people signed up before they realise they have sold/lost their best players and their marquee signing for the upcoming season is Robbie Nielsen.

You ought to put that in the Transfer Rumours thread as a serious post in the hope that it becomes a rummour that leads to a transfer.
Corky Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 It's a tough one. After ten years of second tier mediocrity then aren't going to be flooding in, but they need to keep the ones who are there every week. But they'll lose money in the long run.
gazfox9 Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 I think they'll sell a few more when Marlon King leaves.
