DanTheFox07 Posted 24 May 2011 Posted 24 May 2011 Seem`s there is something about this guy, Nobody should be judged on one performance but seem`s as if he played very well against bayern munich! only time will tell! but £200,000 could be an abslout steal!
Foxinspain Posted 24 May 2011 Posted 24 May 2011 Sign the corner taker at 21 seconds, fist pump=pashun. PAASSSSHHHUUUUNNNNN!!!
Aberdeen_fox Posted 24 May 2011 Posted 24 May 2011 Craig Brown had offered him a new deal for next season, but Aluko had told Aberdeen he wanted to move back to the Midlands and asked his agent to find a new club for him, earlier this month. Apparently the Aberdeen fans really like him. I feel this is one for me to answer with most accuracy Yes he was a fans favourite until recently but most of the fans are quite happy to see the back of him. When he wants to, he is very skillful, bags of tricks and will go past players with ease, even chipping in with a few goals. But too often than not, he'll just give up and will quite often look disinterested. This could be because he's not happy and allegedly not been happy for a while up here but he rarely tracks back and helps out the full back and this has always been the case. Don't let the Bayern goal fool you into thinking he's a world beater because he's not, gone backwards in the three years since that memorable night. IMO, Dyer is a better player and Aluko is essentially a poor mans Dyer but he may benefit from a change of scenery, being nearer his family and working under Sven and a totally different coaching team. Can't see him as being more than back up or being used sparingly but at £200k, could be a useful acquisition especially if he's at the top of his game.
