ajthefox Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Fulham have appointed Martin Jol as the club's new manager on a two year dealIt is an initial two-year contract, with the club retaining an option for a third. "I am very happy to join Fulham Football Club, a wonderful traditional club," Jol said. "It is a club with good, solid foundations and a great fan base. "I am looking forward to being part of the Fulham family and thank the chairman for the trust he's shown in me." http://sport.uk.msn.com/football/news/articles.aspx?cp-documentid=158132094 Decent appointment for Fulham I think. Hughes did quietly well and Fulham will struggle to get much higher in the table because of who is above them but I do think Jol could do well. Always liked the bloke as well.
Darkon84 Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Good luck to them. Jol always seemed a nice bloke, and what happened to him at Spurs was a bit harsh. Will still be interesting to see where Ol' Sparky ends up now then.
