Im not saying i want SGE to be playing them there week in week out. We do need wingers in the club because our wingers are not as good as what we can get and we need the cover as we are getting rid of N'Guesson is not wanted and maybe Dyer might be going Sheff Weds. Im saying i dont rate Rommadahl as a player, i dont care what awards he won in the past and who his played for, yeh Ajax or a good team but he was in the premier league and championship with Charlton and he was nothing special. If he couldnt do it in the championship in his prime why would he be any better now? he would want too high of wages anyways. We should be looking at quality wingers that are going to take the club up not a as-been player who will have a decent performance every so often and here for the high wages. personally i think we should be looking for someone like Routledge! quality player with great pace, did the job with QPR last season and Newcastle the year before. Newcastle have put him up for transfer so his not wanted there even though a mate of mine whos a newcastle fan cant believe because he thinks his still got something to offer newcastle.

When has Wellens played as a winger and what qualities do you see in them that makes you think they would be adequate cover for the wing spot? And please tell me about Rommedahl's career in the Championship, I'm intrigued You don't have to 'care' about the awards he got, I only used it to emphasize that he ISN'T past his best. I feel that he's never been better than in the past 3-4 years. I have no qualms about you wanting to see Routledge at Leicester instead of Rommedahl though. After all your opinion of Routledge just might be based on glimpses you've seen.... possibly...
shen Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Who is Kadrii playing for at the moment? Is he still in up in Scandanavia or moved on? Whats your views on him Shen? Just wanted to point out that he's started this season spectacularly. He's got 3 goals in the last 3 games and has impressed me a lot. Plays on the wing but drifts inside a bit, has a very good touch and a decent shot on him. Hard-working too with plenty of fire in his belly. Wouldn't be surprised to see him called up for the senior NT if he keeps this form up! edit: In fact, he just has!! Just seen it now
