Cat Burger Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 Not saying this would happen for sure, but maybe if Stewart had've took the penalties his tally would be higher?? Don't know why I'm arguing, I think he's crap

a circus of imbeciles Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 'fraid it's a very old arguement, this develop a squad gradually .v. get into the premiership at all costs. Fact is money talks, and that's all in the Premiership! On the flip side, though, is once you're in the Premiership the siege mentality of 'survive at all costs' kicks in and the dour, hoofball, cliche ridden, 'work ethic' 'on a tight budget' crap becomes everyday, and entertainment can kiss my on the other hand, a carefully developed squad built gradually as a team can all too easily be 'Peter Taylored', or draughted for a few quid to 'loads a' money' clubs at the price of the drop! I believe you've to go for it regardless, 'cos once you're in the Premiership, as the man says, the money comes in, and maybe, just maybe, a trickle from the honey pot will get diverted from the suits to the room marked 'Glory'!
Blue Arrow Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 Yes, umm, well, we really need to stop signing players from the damn SPL
