Played last Saturday then flew half way around the world twice to Japan and then back here to play yesterday. Can forgive him for being off the pace a bit. Absolutely! I certainly don't blame Abe - he had only just back from demanding international duty on the other side of the world. I blame Sven for picking him, especially when we have so many other central midfielders to choose from. With what, 8 CMs to choose from, we should never need to play one who's even slightly unfit.
Bilbo Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Thanks, mostly I just scribble notes when the ball goes out of play. I turn them into sentences and proper english when I get home. My wife worked at the Royal Hospital for Women in Paddington so this was pretty convenient. Interestingly I used to watch the egg chasers on a saturday, couldn't be doing with the 13 a side 'footy' nonsense, watching Randwick playing proper rugby was a real treat. Decent winter weather allowing fast flowing open play that was genuinely great to watch, miles better than anything you would see at Welford Road. Mind you having Matt Burke, several Ella brothers and the incomparable 'Campo' turning out on a regular basis did help. Top bloke Dave, although I went to the game it's nice to see someone looking out for those that didn't/can't.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Only ones to come out with a tad of respect yesterday are Fernandez, Nugent, Bamba and Kasper IMO. Kasper is golden, think we've really gotten a gem with him.
