MikeyT Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 So, back to drawing board... Looking forward to hearing the moan in on Monday evening.
cc_star Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 A wakeup call, hopefully it will make the players realise they can't afford to be so lapsidaisical again and a reality to check for plenty of the fans
Dames Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Ugh its pathetic if the fans are going to boo at every single loss this season.
Nick Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 A wakeup call, hopefully it will make the players realise they can't afford to be so lapsidaisical again and a reality to check for plenty of the fans Such a great word.
HoustonFox Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Reality check....I hope. For who? Us or the players?
Danglo Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 A wakeup call, hopefully it will make the players realise they can't afford to be so lapsidaisical again and a reality to check for plenty of the fans What he said, exactly. Reading always beat us anyway, especially at home!
MC Prussian Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 High expectations, low result. Most players had a real shocker today. Abe too knackered from his stint with the Japanese national squad. Wellens and Danns had mediocre games, Fernandes did most of the work in midfield. Passing just won't work, it doesn't klick between midfield and our forward(s). Mills too scared playing against his former team, sub-par performance. Schlupp unlucky, Nugent unlucky AGAIN (bit of a bummer trying so hard and not managing to score). Schmeichel is probably the only one who can leave the scene with his head held up high. Sven - never change a winning team...
purpleronnie Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 For who? Us or the players? Some on here who thought we would win the league. One defeat I know, but It aint gonna happen.
boring_jester Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Hopefully on Wednesday sven can sort it out. Hopefully no stupid karaoke before the match and just pure football. Hopefully stay with the 4-4-2 on Wednesday. It seemed to work. Still probably need a striker.
Salieri Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Massive disappointment. I'm sure we'll bounce back on Wednesday against Brizzle.
cc_star Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Seeing as so many people on FoxesTalk criticised Hobbs for getting the ball clear of his area & were openly masturbating centre-halves who looked more comfortable passing out of defence (despite all the goals against), why is Mills idolised for hoofing?
topharry123 Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Poor poor poor. Not come together yet and I still think we need a couple more players to set us away from the pack. There's a few teams with teams just as good as us right now so more signings can step us up. Schmeichel looks like a true blue!
Tielemans63 Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Don't want to over-react but this was a worryingly inept performance. I know the chemistry won't be great yet but they were on completely different wavelengths today.
Libertine Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Seeing as so many people on FoxesTalk criticised Hobbs for getting the ball clear of his area & were openly masturbating centre-halves who looked more comfortable passing out of defence (despite all the goals against), why is Mills idolised for hoofing? He isn't. Plenty of people have said the same.
purpleronnie Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 I guess money can't buy you a winning team depends on who you buy.

Is he? It pisses me of personally.
tewkesbury-fox Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 For me this game was a bench mark regardless of how many games have been played, sounds all to familiar as it was towards the end of last season not starting well not at the races.
BluethroughtheMiddle Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Some on here who thought we would win the league. One defeat I know, but It aint gonna happen. I dont know how you can say that!! First loss of the season at home to a decent side that we always struggle against, with pretty much a new team that have had little rime to gel.. FFS give it a chance at least before you write us off. Jeez the Negs on here do my head in.
cc_star Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Could have done with Dyer on the bench today... sometimes just running at players is enough to change a game
George Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Not going to be as easy as you thought is it? lol lol :sge: :sweating:
