chili_con_carne Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Don't know if this has been covered before but does anyone else find it ridiculous that you can pay £18 more to watch the same game if you want to sit in J2 or B2 rather than an admittedly poorer view at A1/2 or C1/2. Also, G1/2 has the exact same view as C1/2 but the tickets cost £8 more. Fails me tbh.

It's ever funnier you can buy the JTT ones in the corner and just walk across to the masses of empty seats that are £35 plus.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 15 September 2011 Posted 15 September 2011 I paid 390 for an adult ST at the back if l block (earlybird renewal) A mate of mine has paid 525 for an under 22 ST in k block, again right at the back of their stand. He must sit 20 yards to my left. Doesn't make sense really. Especially considering that l block is better anyway!
HEGGSY Posted 15 September 2011 Posted 15 September 2011 It's ever funnier you can buy the JTT ones in the corner and just walk across to the masses of empty seats that are £35 plus. This is exactly what I do whenever I sit there, no harm is done because no one is sitting there
davieG Posted 15 September 2011 Posted 15 September 2011 I sit in C2 and the view is perfectly adequate, I've sat in the East, West and South stands I wouldn't say they were particularly superior just provide a different perspective. The real reason for the 'significant' price difference, as it is with many retail sales of products and services is because people are prepared to pay the difference.

As with all new grounds the view is superb wherever you sit. But in me and my mates example, his view is not 135quid better.
danny. Posted 15 September 2011 Posted 15 September 2011 I've got tickets for C2 for Sat @ £20/ticket, I sat in the Kop last time near the corner and that was fine view-wise (£25/ticket I think), and with the better atmosphere I probably enjoyed the overall experience a tiny bit more than the Bristol match which was £55/ticket in the Keith Weller lounge.
