marbelladave Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 Couldnt have put it better myself HOWEVER ON A POSITIVE NOTE (I'm really gonna start pissing people off in the end with this...) Defensively we looked a class act. I feel finally that Faz may have sorted that aspect of the game out We have improved in the last couple of games so I hope you are right, a word of warning though, Cardiff were limp going forward and there will be much sterner tests to come, starting on wednesday..... Mills is definitely looking better, I think his toe injury set him back a lot more than people realise and he is just starting to look like the player we spent £5m on. All we need now is to get him to improve his distribution when he brings the ball out of defence. Thanks, much better than a headbutt. I agree about the players not in familiar positions but I think it's a step-by-step development by Sven. A bit like Mancinis approach to the english soil. When we have the finisished product we're unstoppable but It can take some time and for now we'll only see glimpses of what will be. Not sure about this, the only step by step approach that I am seeing at the moment is a grim determination to insist that our midfield players all play in the position to which they are least suited and largely ineffective. No real progress for me at all......
