It's not because their opinion differs from mine. It's because they so obviously set out with a negative attitude and won't budge an inch, using 'criticism' as a pretext for mongering. Some do it on purpose while some are merely misguided, but the effects are the same. They'll never admit to being wrong even if we e.g. would go on to win the league, they're simply 'too proud' to do so. If we get any success,

they'll pull a Chandler and not rear their head until we're in the mire again. Miserable lot...

How many more fookin times!! This is getting so boring....

I'm not trolling or looking to pick a fight... I simply write what I believe to be true. If you don't agree I don't give a flying fook... Just don't try to suggest that I'm not a 'real

fan' or any such nonsense because I may happen to feel that Sven from time to time is a bit of a twat in his decisions. Read my posts you knob.. Yesterday I was praising the back four and having a go at people on here who were calling Beckford a cvnt only two weeks after reifying him..... And I'm sure I posted 'neither a Sven lover nor a Sven bummer be'... As I posted last season.

You're like a broken record. Go and label someone else with your vitriol. I happen to care for my club will give credit

where due but won't just post unrealistic nonsense

because you say I should. You're like 'Svens Army' whereby any 'dissent' of our leader will be met with instant rebuttal and attempts at humiliation.

Thracian, possibly the most educated and sensible poster on here IMO was called a cvnt only two days ago for simply giving his view in his usual eloquent way.

Finally, to categorise me with Ibbosuk... You cheeky twat.. You're the biggest troll of all...

I thought we played a very solid 90 minutes, although unable to turn our possession into anything meaningful.

Cardiff were quality opposition however, and it was heartening to see our back four put in a shift when the going got tough after half-time. Most impressed with Mills, thought he looked great in the back four and fingers crossed he's found some form.

Beckford was a bit of a ghost throughout, but personally I'm not to concerned with that, he's not a play maker after all, and his lack of presence was a reflection of Cardiff's quality and our mid-fields lack of zeal (main culprits wellens and king who seemed out-of-sorts). Then again, if he hasn't scored after 10 games, eye-brows will go into over drive.

Leicester are beginning to look like a top-six side, and sven seems to be doing okay. We're not living up to the hype, but I reckon Sven deserves a good run for the rest of the season, unless we literally implode, lose 10 on the trot, or Sven is caught in a hot tub with 3 escorts when he was supposed to be at training or something.

I am not sure the owners will be happy with a top 6, bearing in mind the aim is to get automatic, with the side we have ( that doesn't guarantee that we will beat teams conformably, as every game in the championship is tough) we should be pushing up the league sooner rather than later.

"Cardiff were a quality opposition"!! They were gash and were there for the taking but City lacked the the cutting edge, killer instinct, tactical nouse, managerial motivation, commitment, desire, will, effort, skill..... I could go on!

Add to the fact that Cardiff were down to 10 men early into 2nd half due to injury makes it more of a disappointment. We should be taking these chances and not accepting that just because it's an away game a draw "is a great result"

I personally think that MON will never return to Leicester. Secondly, I would in no way regard Sven as a 'Clown'

Thirdly, I welcome constructive discussion on any topic concerning LCFC. I have little time for those who make scathing generalised comments but offer no alternative suggestions.

And the answer to point three is they don't understand the game.

Thats why you get the. We was crap we are shite and sack sven he's shite.

When??? I recall it that Gestade looked knackered at the end not early into 2nd half. They subbed early in the 2nd half and were eleven the whole match. But thoose who tries to find things to blame search harder than anybody else...

I think you're correct, and there is room to improve (no width, disappointing application to the front two) no doubt. Cardiff threw everything the had at us early in the second-half, and when they suffered their injury, they parked the bus. I agree the team is going to have to do better than this to get automatic promotion, but I still think its a good result. We finished on the front foot, and I don't think the team is playing with a lack of desire or motivation. The good news is, the team can play better than this, and hopefully we see it before christmas.

Now hold on!!! Has 'Shen' given you permission to point out that this Cardiff team was perhaps one of the weakest they have fielded for quite some time? and that they had made three subs by half time?

Have you asked whether its ok to post a somewhat 'negative' point of view?

'In Shen we trust'!!

Given the players we have bought I agree we should not be happy with taking just a point from a piss poor Cardiff side . If we have any real ambitions to finish in the top two we have to beat sides as weak as they were yesterday . I have a feeling the new owners are thinking that as well. We have had enough time to bed the new players in and on that showing we are just not good enough for a top two finish . I am not being negative just being a realist . I think Sven's tactics are very negative and he is being found out at this level of football. I hope I am proved wrong and if we do make a top two place I shall apologize to all and sundry and eat a big slice of humble pie .

Tell me then when Cardiff played with only 10 men....

I must say that I find it rather childish that in seeking to justify their opinion, some folk can only resort to insults when another person disagrees with what they said. Calling someone else a troll or a clown, whatever, probably says more about themselves rather than who it was aimed at! I might well (and do) disagree with various views put forward but I will always defend their right to freely express those views.

Back to football matters! I think most fans are looking forward to a Beckford – Nugent partnership but by the same token, we need to be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day and they will need to get used to each other's style of play.

Although we have had umpteen outstanding individual players over the years, how many partnerships can you recall where the names carried equal status? For me, it was Gibson and Stringfellow – it was as familiar as 'breadand butter' or 'love and marriage – you can't have one without the other!'

'Lynex and Lineker' was another. But have there been any others? There was one game I particularly remember at home against Sunderland in March 2000. It was also televised. Emile Heskey and Stan Collymore established a superb instant partnership that ran Sunderland ragged. We won 5-2 with Stan scoring a hat-trick. Heskey scored one himself and Stef Oakes scored the other.

Beckford's partner at Leeds was Becchio and together, they were often deadly. Beckford will thrive on the same level of service but will David Nugent be that player? Let us hope so!

And when was that?

When he was limping around, but the point I was trying to make was that spell of pressure in the last 15 minutes of the game should of been used for the full 90 minutes and this is what Sven alluded to in his post match synopsis.

"However, Mackay hailed his side's resolve to hang on for a valiant point against City, who could have snatched victory late on at the Cardiff City Stadium.

He said: "The last few minutes we were playing with 10 men because Gestede pulled a hamstring and was lame from then on."

I think it's fair to call it a lie when someone says they had 10 man early in the 2nd, agree?

I genuinely don't think CCF is that bad.

Neither do I. But he does seem overly negative or critical towards fans that do support the manager and his team. The fact I even mention him is because he features in virtually every thread that touches on the subject, deliberately (?) taking on the agent provocateur role.

Fair enough response I guess. Didn't want to come across as THAT much of a jerk, sorry about that. I noticed you ridiculing somebum's rating of Sven, so you're obviously not all bad ;)

I don't think you are being as 'realistic' as you claim to be, whether it's because you have too high expectations or whether you're just that way inclined, I can't say. I've got nothing against any valid criticism you put forward though. And Thracian, as educated and often sensible as he is, has a tendency to over-dramatize things for effect. Obviously, calling him such names is inappropriate, but he ain't talking gospel either.

Oh get off your high horse <_<

As for the striker partnership, I feel it's a bit of a limited discussion. It used to be much more prominent before when 4-4-2 was the standard playing system. That said, if Sven persists with the 4-4-2, I don't see why Nugent and Beckford couldn't potentially work great together. Nugent sitting as the deeper of the two strikers, threatening with driving runs and occasional long shots, with Beckford hanging off the shoulder of the last defender forcing their back line to retreat. Could work great provided either of them gets decent service from midfield...

I think you'll find Gestade was do nothing more than playing as a "nuisance factor" from about 50mins. But then some people will always argue black is white.

Quote that as much as you like dude, but I hardly think McKay is going to let on that his striker is knackered and had to play on for 40 mins injured especially given the other injuries his squad is now faced with. Not the message he wants to get across to his forthcoming opponents.

Either way you're trying to argue that Cardiff were not a weaker team than we have faced previously and I think they were and we should have taken them to the cleaners. That's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. I dont however like being insulted by you.

I wonder why they held the game up as good as they did if so. As soon as Gestade got knackered we murdered them.

Have to love the spin from both sides of the argument sometimes...

"one point off the play offs" does sound far better than "5 points behind 5th" :-)

You're right mate we did murder them for the last 10 when Gestade was virtually out on his feet. My point is that we should have taken full advantage when he first got injured and his ability to be effective was diminished early in the second half and he gradually got worse. I think we have exhausted this argument dude let's agree to slightly disagree! Cheers
