Without any shadow of a doubt, the most despicable thing I've heard from the show has to be the finalists' absolute manure-fest that is their version of Bowie's "Heroes". It even made me angry just typing it...

One does come to mind though - Leona Lewis' version of Run because unlike many X-factor entrants, she actually has got a good voice, but just wastes it with lack of emotion or talent.
