His picture still adorns the wall of the New Parks Social Club. He came to prominence in his youth as a striker for Allexton/New Parks FC.

Will see him in action for Burton in the next couple of weeks and post a report on how he is doing there.

I was sad to hear he was released because the reports he was getting in the reserves were sometimes great. I had hoped he got a decent chance in the first team, but it wasn't to be and I imagine it is hard when you are released from a football club.

Good to hear he has picked up this award though. He needs to take a look at other player's that got released but worked hard to get back to the higer levels, such as Anthony Pilkington.
