Ashley Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 Hello. I was wondering if anyone on Foxestalk would be interested in starting up a betting competition. Basically you place one bet(single/multiple) at evens or higher. If you win, you advance to the next stage. Last man standing will take the pot(explained below). The Pot: IF enough people are interested in taking part, I will set up a paypal account, you will send £5(entrance fee) to my account as a GIFT(only way possible to do it) then the winner would get the winnings sent to him/her. OR the money could be sent to a trusted member on this site e.g. DavieG and he could then pay the winner. How the competition works, you go on a betting site such as William Hill, BET365, Paddy Power etc.. Select your bet at(single/multiples) at evens or higher, print screen the bet and post it in this thread. If you win, you go through to the next round, you'll do the same until there is one overall winner. I posted this in the General Sports section however I am not sure how many people seen the thread, this sub forum gets used more so it might get more interested. Just one more thing. If this does take off, a part of the winnings could be donated to Mark to help run foxestalk? Thoughts people?
Mjlewis08 Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 Is your PayPal account based in the Congo? :-P
wellyfox Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 so put it to mark you run it and let him set up a paypal. I'd be happy for him to take 20% if it keeps this running.
Tommy G Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 Don't quote me but I think there might be some legals to get past before you can run something like this, especially online. Is someone like Lisa around to clarify?

Is someone like Lisa around to clarify? You are ok to run it unless it involves more than 12 people I think the law on gambing is. They don't exactly go around arresting people for running office sweepstakes though.
