Milton Keynes Fox Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 Anyone else agree that this man knows nothing when it comes to being a pundit for football games? I recall the Tottenham Chelsea game where he said Sturridge would never have gotten a goal like that in a international game because the players are international quality, to which Glen Hoddle said that Assou-Ekotto is Cameroon International, he just gets mad about being proved wrong and knows nothing!
Fox92 Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 Its is all about opinions at the end of the day, even with pundits. I don't really care about his pundit comments though, because he was a fantastic footballer. I like him, and there are certainly worser pundits around.
Dan Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Certainly one of the more interesting pundits for me.
somebum Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Don't like him, never have. He'd cause an argument in an empty room and completely ruined Liverpool with his ego. I recall once in the pundits box that he had a huge argument with Jamie Redknapp and said " I DIDN'T SAY THAT DON'T PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH'.
