Saxondale Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 For those of you that haven't seen this already, I strongly recommend a watch of this series. Shown on Sky in 2006, it features Ron Atkinson being placed in struggling Peterborough United in a 'troubleshooter' capacity. Not only is is great entertainment, but it is an unprecendented insight into the behind-the-scenes workings of a football club - albeit a skint, lower league one (at the time). It gives a real world look at how things actually work at a football club. It also features St Ledger a lot as he was Peterborough's hot, young prospect at the time. Many thanks to 'Boro fan Mr Posh for posting these links in the St Ledger thread - I've just hijacked them and placed them here. https://rapidshare.c...6A48323B048|0|0 Episode 1 https://rapidshare.c...F1C7A4A2D88|0|0 Episode 2 https://rapidshare.c...CF0CB721E14|0|0 Episode 3 https://rapidshare.c...C156EE43F43|0|0 Episode 4 https://rapidshare.c...68ABB6B6D12|0|0 Episode 5
Corky Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 I prefer the Ron Manager sketches by Paul Whitehouse.
SMX11 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 I was looking for this for ages, thanks to the Peterborough fan who posted this. It has found its way onto youtube now as well. St ledger was a cock on this show
Darkon84 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 To bad Ron is a racist. A hero to all of Londons white taxi drivers!
Unit Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 To bad Ron is a racist. Such a strange area though, what he said was vile and racist yet he was one of the first managers to have black players in his team week in week out.
