Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Forest are, like, well shit. That's what changed since Saturday. I mean they're really shit This, plus obviously we played a bit better aswell
yorkie1999 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 I think what changed was that when peltier and konchesky went forward, gallagher and dyer covered for them by staying behind. Both Barnsley's goals came from peltier's side but they wern't his fault, it was the fact he was having to push on up the wing and having no cover. This is why we need an out and out right winger, not a midfielder playing on the wing because he will always drift into the centre of the pitch.
Guy Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 I also think that apart from the opposition being woeful and us scoring early on (well - them....their own goal!), which is always a useful thing to do when at home, their inept miss after 10 minutes - when it seemed far easier to score syndrome - was pivotal and the rest of the game went very much in our favour. A repeat against Southampton would be nice, even if we've still yet to play well in two games running this season!
Wig_Wam_Bam Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Forest are absolutely useless fact, I'm so glad we come up against such a s#@t team when our confidence was at a low as I feel it has now lifted the gloom and our players spirits and we can hopefully now put this bad patch behind us and kick on in the league.
