Guest Col city fan Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 I would like to think that most people on here actually think this is really all bollox. Luck is important but, in most cases, it tends to average itself out. For as many shitty refs we get, we get decent ones... For as many decisions that go against us we get ones in our favour. Tis life.... And certainly true in football. Do you think that West Ham are top of the table this season because 'everything has gone in their favour?' Do you not think they too have had shitty refs, dubious offsides, stupid sendings off etc....? Or is there a conspiracy against LCFC amongst the FA? Nah... The reason why they are 15 points above us in the table ain't because they have been continually 'lucky' and we haven't... It's because they are better than us. They have spent wisely, are big and strong, hard to beat at home and can score goals from anywhere. We've been no more 'unlucky' than any other team in the division, we've been pretty shit.. Take it on the chin
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 If it is down to luck then I guess it's pay back time for when NFP was last here and most people thought we over achieved by reaching the play offs. I just don't think that our preformances in December where down to bad luck. We where poor, very poor. We have lost players yes but that's part and parcel of the game. What we don't have us a basic system of play that works and if some players don't perform others are exposed, we still have square pegs, the imbalance call it what you want, buy if Hesky returns every thing will be fine, Kasper to Hesky to ..,.,.,,,, GOAL
Burmesefox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 If you think that then clearly you haven't been to many home games this season. We've lost out on at least half of the ten in home games. As for PK, if you're refering to that challenge in the Swindon game, then I'm surprised it wasn't given considering the number of poor decisions made against us this season. Just a season ticket holder and a supporter since 81.............
purpleronnie Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 We're not the only ones but we've had it happen to us quite a lot of times, I'd suggest more so than most. That goes for our relegation season too, as well as Sousa's reign. We're not talking about one-off occassions here, we're talking about a lot, certainly more big decisions go unfairly against us than unfairly for us. But you don't know because you haven't seen all the other games making the whole arguement meaningless.
