Corky Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 England play three Twenty20 matches from today, having lost the Test series 3-0 and won the ODI series 4-0. We're pretty good at this form of the game, so hopefully we'll claim another series victory.
ScouseFox Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Okay, they've got a chance to get a decent total here. Could be a good game.
Guest MattP Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Should chase this down providing we get a good power play.
Corky Posted 23 February 2012 Author Posted 23 February 2012 Swann bowling superbly. He's no Ian Salisbury.
ScouseFox Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 35 needed from last 5 overs (30 balls). Shouldn't be too tricky, 7 wickets in hand. You never know though, Ajmal on is a clever decision. Well, it could be.
ScouseFox Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Okay, will be trickier now. 112-4, Ravi gone. 33 from 26 needed.
Guest MattP Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Bairstow needs to finish this, future legend, needs to start now.
Brainy Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Pretty sure Swann is a bigger hitter than Broad
Guest MattP Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Pretty sure Swann is a bigger hitter than Broad Wouldnt say there is much difference, Broad is certainly the better batsman though and has loads of experience in seeing ODI's home....the situation was only 24 off 16 at the time, I can't remember the last time Swanna came in above him. Seems even more bizarre when Broad has been one of our better batsman this tour against the spin on these slow tracks.
Brainy Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 I think they're even, Broad slightly better at test match situations cause he seems to play more delicate shots.. Swann just swings his bat and opens for his county, I can understand him coming in before Broad.

Brainy Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I think he opened around the same sort of time he was called up to the England time again
Guest MattP Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Or Dickie Illingworth No one will ever outdo Tuffers.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 No one will ever outdo Tuffers. Not english but Paddy Symcox was brilliant to watch such a character.
Corky Posted 24 February 2012 Author Posted 24 February 2012 Ah, the glory days of England's spin attack. One Richard Dawson.
Guest MattP Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 Bairstow really is going to be some player
ScouseFox Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 Bairstow Fielding performance was top notch. Everyone chipped in. Good win.
