There is a really great search facility. I'm sure it wouldn't take too much of your browsing time, and it may even save time by answering your query without creating yet another new topic to cover the same old ground?

Just a thought :)

Many thanks for that advice Im sure I will get the hang this this site eventually :) :) :):worship:

Bert says on Twitter...

#lcfc season tickets - the club don't need the money like they used to. Which is why no prices have been released. Could still be a while.

There was a time when you didn't get your season ticket until the off-season. Could this be true?

In my opinion they should have showed some goodwill to the fans and announced early bird prices weeks ago.

Those who have had season tickets through recent seasons deserve a discount, IF we had gone up then the glory hunters who jumped onto the bandwagon could have then paid more.

It's ok the club saying they dont need the money,,but I for one, would like to know how much im going to have to pay for three season tickets!

Fair enough, set the date for us to get them to sometime in May/June if they are in no rush,,but at least give us a heads up on cost.

also...i remember didn't they wait until the last minute to send them aswell this season. They cut it close.

I think that was the fault of the company who manufactured them, who then promptly went bust leaving the club without the hardware required at the turnstiles.

It would be good if people got a discount going on how many years they have had their ST's.

Say 1% per year, but round it up to every 5 years. I mean you get a 5% discount every time you do 5 years, then 10% for 10 years, etc.

Would get the fans on side and who could moan at a fan going for years paying a bit less than someone who has just joined. Might even increase the chances of people renweing.

Agreed Mack, they have gambled a little now because it may be the difference between a fortnight in Spain with the kids on holiday and renewing for some, Ive had one for the last 3 seasons but with fuel costs, the poor performances and ticket deals they have for fans who never go like the 3 midlands games for £50 I have to justify the spend, they could as you say have offered early bird or a premiership price freeze for those committing if we had gained promotion via the play offs, 19 games in the premier so your still getting 4 matches less.

I doubt they have the historical data, they can't even manage to record the away games I've been to this and every previous season without me having to prove it post season.

But it would be good to get a 25% discount for my 25 years+ discount but what about the other 20 years I went regularly without a ST :P

The problem is there are many fans who attend regularly that don't/can't get a ST (for many varied reasons) who have probably paid in as much if not more, judging by the price of matchday tickets this would alienate them even more than they already feel.

So go down for a hundred years and your season ticket would be free? ;)

To be serious, I think this is a good idea.

it's quite embarrassing. going to places like Reading and Southampton, you see them with their 'Early Bird deadline 31st March', even when they are all but guaranteed promotion. I think it's down to the owners, wanting to rip the loyal fans off because we could be in a higher league (look at QPR at the beginning of this season). Nobody knows, no one in the ticket office knows. Yet another example of a lack of communication between the fans and the club

It maybe unsatisfactory and poor communication, nothing new there but until they announce the prices you can't accuse them of ripping off the fans.

but that is obviously their plan, see if we get promoted, and then charge ridiculous prices?:dunno:

Well we aren't getting promoted so that's out the window . But if they put up the price of a season ticket anyway, as far as i'm concerned with this team and manager they can stuff it.

It maybe obvious but it's not a fact, maybe they're just planning on charging everyone the same price, maybe they're still having problems with the ticketing methodology, promotion was such a long shot anyway.

I've said this a few times before but when Top was asked whether part of the plan was big increases in ticket prices for the Premier League, he said that this wasn't their plan, they would rather have a full stadium than higher ticket prices.

I'm not saying this is what is going to happen...just wishing it is going to happen!

They never get a full house now and haven't had one for a league game since God knows when. So if they put up the prices even less will attend especially with the squad and manager we have at present. My mate who is not a season ticket holder has had to pay out £ 32.00 for a ticket to watch Burnley. He did it in the hope we would have beaten Milwall. I ask you £32.00 to watch two no hope clubs in a meaningless match.

Most football clubs are completely out of touch with their own fans and think only of the money they get from that great God SKY. Well enough is enough I think unless major changes are made at this club in the close season and the fans genuinely have something to look forward to people will be looking to do something else with their hard earned money, me included.

The early bird of 31st March will have been introduced by clubs a while back to bring funds forward into their financial year to give a one off financial benefit.

I am not sure when our financial year end is now.

But if it is December, with our current financial plight, it won't really matter whether we renew March or May

does the title off this thread refer to a ticket for one game because it say 'next season ticket prices' which would mean next seasons ticket prices not next seasons season ticket prices?
