leicesterlad1989 Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 5 away games cant comment then can you So what is the cut off point then, just so people know if they can comment or not? The fact I have been to 10 away games, and you made no comments aimed at my post, perhaps if you have been to less than 7 games, you cant comment? Whether its 1 game, 6 games or 19 away games you have been to, you surely can't argue the effort and support of our fans. Even if you listen on the radio or watch a stream on the net, you can always hear the fans.
Guest Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 only seen the atmosphere at 5 games How many games would he need to attend before he can comment? Do they have to be certain types of games, so derbies don't apply? Or a low proportion of midweek games? At what stage are we allowed to comment about atmosphere?
Mack Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 If there's one aspect of the club you cant moan about it's the quality of our away support. It is very good indeed.

You go to some grounds, and you get a little Adolf telling you to sit down, and that doesn't help atmospheres. Also a lot more families and young children that travel to away games too, (which I'm all for, they will grow up some day and will play a part in the atmosphere) as football is a lot safer place. But one major factor that has changed for us is the mediocre football we witness at times. We are no longer a premier league team, and whether you like it or not, performances on the pitch will affect the crowd. Out of interest where and when were these great atmospheres we witnessed, it may help us work out where things are going wrong...

1964FOX Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 How FVCKING GOOD IS THIS THREAD NOT SEEN THIS MOANED ABOUT YET!!!!!!!!! Can't we start one on the worst away meat pies or shite cups of tea? Buy the league if we got bonus points for moaning fans our pot cabinet would be so full this season. Also Chelski would not be the only english side left in the champions league. Ps the loo seats are fvcking cold at the KP too. Worst pie this year was Blackpool and worst hot drink, according to my miss us, was Kettering friendly the other week.

Every fan on here has seen more second class football than top flight football. As for mediocre football you should have seen the David Pleat LCFC that was fvcking dire. Is nothing to do with football under pleat we sang we partied the atmosphere was different people were different. The Roy Keane comment about prawn sarnies was not just about Man U it was about football in general. Football people have changed nothing to do with what division your in or quality of football.
carlhltid Posted 6 April 2012 Author Posted 6 April 2012 why should the atmosphere be better when your top of the league its a day out supporting your team top or bottom sing your heart out for the lads some people dont sing when were shit why ???????????????????????????????????????
carlhltid Posted 6 April 2012 Author Posted 6 April 2012 Worst pie this year was Blackpool and worst hot drink, according to my miss us, was Kettering friendly the other week. pompey wasnt much better threw mine away
Guy Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 If we could all stand up at away games in the terraces like of old........then problem solv-ed! The edge of the game's atmosphere has been disolved by all seater stadia (and more of late by PC) I'm afraid. I should know, I'm old enough to remember going to games, pre Hillsborough 1989 like it was yesterday!

I have to agree with this, an away day should be a good day out supporting our team no matter what. Hoping for snow on Monday, might get the awesome atmosphere 500 of us had there -small town in Lapland.

Agree with what you are saying, after all I have only witnessed 23 years of LCFC, so I can't really comment on crowds/atmospheres pre 1994. Sadly football is changing, and watching old footage from the terraces makes me so sad that its not like that these days.

Danny the Fox 95 Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 Our away support is the best in the league. You listen to West Ham & Barnsley today, West ham are 3-0 up and you can't hear them! I am always buzzing whenever I go to an away match and Peterborough was a prime example of how loud we can be. You joking it's In top 4 no doubt but Leeds are best.
carlhltid Posted 6 April 2012 Author Posted 6 April 2012 Norwich and Chelsea this season! WOW should be like that every game
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 Agreed Sing our hearts out whatever the score!
carlhltid Posted 6 April 2012 Author Posted 6 April 2012 why cant we do when your smiling like this ?
