carlhltid Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 when i was a lad my dad took me to all the away games and i gotta say it just aint the same anymore. we got outsung at cov first game of the season how bad is that . been nearly every away match this year and i dont think its good enough. was looking on youtube at leeds and brum ect and they all and i mean all sing there club songs with pride even if there losing and playing awfull . when your smiling has almost vannished imo thats our song and everyone should sing this at the top of there voices . we get a few hundred singing all game at the back of the stand and i think more should join in and make it really loud but they dont especially when were losing . not good enough.
Fox92 Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 I think we are good away from home. Can't remember Coventry out singing us? I just think not that many fans join in on When You're Smiling. Don't think we are poor though!

ramadaone Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 As a rule of thumb we are great until we go behind which is exactly when the team needs the backing Peterboro was a prime example when we totally out sung them but when they scored it all went quiet as we grew more and more frustrated with the teams performance
lovelcfc Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 I wouldn't say it was poor but when we go behind we go silent and when we are winning there's no1 louder in the league but we do have good away support

TheUltimateWinner Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 Our away support is the best in the league. You listen to West Ham & Barnsley today, West ham are 3-0 up and you can't hear them! I am always buzzing whenever I go to an away match and Peterborough was a prime example of how loud we can be.

Chelsea? Norwich? Derby? Were you not at these games?! Jesus Christ people will find anything to moan about after we've lost a game. I know this has been a disappointing, underwhelming season but our away support is not another aspect of our season that needs tearing apart. Numbers wise, and noise wise, there are not too many better in this division.
carlhltid Posted 6 April 2012 Author Posted 6 April 2012 yep was at them 3 and thats how it should be every game not just fa cup and local derbys
leicesterlad1989 Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 I never comment on here, not sure why I don't, as I spend most of my "working" day reading this forum! Anyway, on to the topic.. Having been to 10 (I think) away games this season, I have came away from games disappointed on a numerous occasions with the result but never with the fans. I admit we go quiet when we concede but don't most teams? Considering for majority of the season our team has let us down in terms of results, and clearly they have yet to meet our expectations, I think our support is fantastic. Good performances on the pitch = good vocal fans (and vice versa) We have more than kept up to our end of the bargain...
Libertine Dream Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 Nobody had support like they used to, we are one of the loudest in the league. We do have a tendancy to go quiet when we concede but so does everyone, football has changed. Is there a day that goes by when somebody doesnt start a thread with the sole purpose of moaning on here anymore.

1964FOX Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 I think we have been fairly good away this season and very good on occasion. Southampton away was exceptional and by far the best away for me this season.
NiftyFox Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 We have the fourth highest away following in our league behind Leeds,Southampton and West Ham. This shows we have a very good following and we're always very vocal.
Guest Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 I think we have been fairly good away this season and very good on occasion. Southampton away was exceptional and by far the best away for me this season. I was just about to say Southampton away was good, especially considering the numbers, and it being a Monday night. I really don't know what some fans expect. This thread just looks like someone trying to court controversy rather than make a constructive point.

wellyfox Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 How FVCKING GOOD IS THIS THREAD NOT SEEN THIS MOANED ABOUT YET!!!!!!!!! Can't we start one on the worst away meat pies or shite cups of tea? Buy the league if we got bonus points for moaning fans our pot cabinet would be so full this season. Also Chelski would not be the only english side left in the champions league. Ps the loo seats are fvcking cold at the KP too.
carlhltid Posted 6 April 2012 Author Posted 6 April 2012 i didnt say we had a bad following or didnt sing but when we play bad we aint good enough we shut up and start hurling abuse ime ltid and think that a few hundred more or so fans say the ones at the front not just the back should join in a bit more and make the atmosphere alot better
carlhltid Posted 6 April 2012 Author Posted 6 April 2012 Why not? only seen the atmosphere at 5 games
