Weller in Tights Posted 9 July 2012 Share Posted 9 July 2012 Can't say that "being liked" has ever seemed important to me. Have very rarely agreed with Daggers, but on this one I have to agree. Never thought of being liked.,........ full stop really. However I will go in to detail. Millwall sing "No one likes us, we don't care" but in reality most people ain't bothered about Millwall, as they have always been Division 2 or lower (old money). We have never been liked by the London 'Fraternity', the Midlands teams hate us (despite what Derby and Forest say), and the Yorkshire teams (especially Leeds) hate us. Its only really the North East that are indifferent to us. The North West???? Always hated them, the fact that I have over the years seen many citizens of my fair City wearing Man U and Liverpool shirts because they glory support, it has made me hate them the most. So lets not be a nice family club that every one has as their second team..
