Enjoy supporting the small club of Aberdeen in Scotland! Enjoy losing to the old firm and finishing mid-table and never improving.

The small club with 2 European trophies to it's name?

The small club that will be battling for 3rd position next year, and a UEFA cup spot?

The small club with an average of 3,500/4,000 fans per away game?

Sorry, who are Leicester, what have they won? fock all.

Europe? Nope, I don't think so.

Take a look at your own club first mate.

Firstly m8, Leicester are a big club, who finished 4 seasons in the top 10 of the english premiership 5 years ago, which is harder than 3rd in Scotland. And we have won trophies in the not so distant past, not 1986 whenever it is.

How big is your stadium? We hold 32,000 and in the premiership we fill that everyweek. and considering we had a bad season last season, an average attendance of 25,000 is bigger than some premiership clubs.

No wonder CL left scottish football for us, and why are you calling him a **** anyway, because he guided hearts to more 3rd place finishes than Aberdeen when he was there?

Oh damn the Illustrious Steve Lovell has chosen world known Aberdeen after turning Little old Leicester down.

Almost brings a tear to my eye

At the end of the day , Lovell did not have enough ambition to be a Leicester player , i dont think he is good enough to play for us either.

Well done Aberdeen you have signed a cracker :)

More 3rd places?

We finished 3rd in 2001 (I think it was) when Levein was manager of hearts.

So unless equal means more to you....

Yes, and what's the population of England again!

Scotland is only about 7 million or something, England is like 40. So boasting about crowds won't do you any good. Unless William Wallace comes back, and we could take over England. B)

World known European cup winners Aberdeen you mean?

Some unknown team called Leicester, who have made no mark in Europe.

Funny how everyone was ejaculating over the signing of Steve Lovell before he signed for us.

In the space of signing for you and being a great player, but then deciding to sign for us, he's become a shite player somehow.

How's that work

Maybe it's 'cause you're bitter.

Thanks Muz, at least someone is backing me up after he comes on our forum and calls our manager a ****.

Aberdeen - from the way their fans are going on about the European Cup of 20 years ago, the Scottish version of Forest comes to mind.

And I'm delighted we didn't sign him, average at best. Move on.

Not all of us were saying he was a good player. Dundee bought him when he couldnt get into a struggling Portsmouth team in the 1st division, and suddenly sets the scottish leeague alight. Shows how shite your league is. So then, are you looking forward to the World Cup?

Got to agree.

Steve Lovell is a decent SCOTTISH LEAGUE player , i dont think he would cut it in the fizzy.

Best of luck to him and Aberdeen this coming season , its just a pity that he is under the thumb because if he was'nt he'd be a member of the LCFC sqaud right now. Maybe its a blessing in disguise.

Hey, remember, you went in for him after he turned down a move to Leicester City, that says that even your management must have thought he'd be on his way to us. Remember, he didnt decide to join you over us, he turned us down for family reasons then you guys went in for the chap and obviously because you are a Scottish club that kind of negates the family issues he would have had with a move to Leicester City. Lets also not forget it's decidedly harder for an English side to get into a european cup competition. All you've got to worry about up there is Celtic and Rangers.. Atleast we have won some form of cup in recent history.

Yet again, another person cannot be bothered finding out the facts.

We've been tracking him since Dundee got relegated, so that's what? 4 weeks ago or something!

Yeh but you had a bid rejected, we went in for him, had one accepted. He turned us down because he is under the thumb. Then you went back in for him. He didnt chose you over us. It happened at different times.

why make the effort to find a leicester forum just to show off that a 2nd rate (at best) forward decided to sign for a 3rd rate scottish club. are you lives really that empty? or is supporting a scottish club other that celtic or rangers just that shit.

you greatest manager ever, sir alex, is just like all scots, a better job came up in england and he f***ed off pronto, as previously said enjoy coming 3rd in a league your top 2 clubs don't want to be in!!!

Sorry who are Leicester.

''The only good teams in England are Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, Everton

It must be so shit supporting another team that are just so shit they're not up their with the top 5. ''

Now that's the exact same thing which you just said, only the English version.

If you've not got anything intelligent to say, then don't say it.

Yeh but alot of teams can break into the top 5, jus look at everton. 17th the season before and 4th last season. You cant. We won the cup in 1997, runners-up 1999, and won again in 2000. 6 seasons in the prem, 4 successive top 10 finishes. Finished above Newcastle and Liverpool a few times. And Everton everytime during that period. Just shows that teams can break into top 5 or 6.

not really as being a city fan is never dull, promation campaigns followed swiftly by a relegation scrap yes its upsetting when you go down but hey life's dull enough without midtable mediocraty in a country where even teams in the top league are going bust. f*** off and dream about a win from 20 years ago. and a national team that cant beat the fairoes.

bye bye

Posted

going back to the reds population statement you have around 33 million people more to choose from for your national team

Posted

not really when u cosider that half them are women, a 3rd of wots left play rugby and about a 5th other sports, but lets face it its not about quantity its a bout quality, the fact is scotland are just plain shit and your best players dont want to play in scotland, or cant get into the old firm teams
