ian the fox Posted 23 December 2012 Share Posted 23 December 2012 Although dissapointed with yesterday's result , it really is the time to keep the faith A couple of astute signings in January & we can still push on for the second spot Lets hope Nigel & Eagle eyed talent spotter Steve Walsh ( coach not the legend ) can pick us a couple of Knockaert style signings for realistic money in the January sales Thus getting back to our form in the first quarter of this campaign which our "jaded" squad at present no longer look capable Merry Xmas & keep the faith

_Fatboyslow_ Posted 23 December 2012 Share Posted 23 December 2012 Never a problem for me, the margins between sucsess and failure are so fine in this leauge as we all know. We don't have to unearth a gem, we just need some real proven quality.
Thracian Posted 23 December 2012 Share Posted 23 December 2012 All very commendable except that Knockaert hasn't added anything to the once smooth-passing rhythm of our team, nor has he added to the pace of our points accumulation. And we won't be the only club seeking new recruits. Others will improve their team too. Meanwhile we'll be left with an essentially cautious manager of seemingly questionable tactical imagination who struggles to get the best out of anyone on a regular basis and presides over a team which still has glaring weaknesses and limitations. Thrill Bert Fox Posted 26 December 2012 Share Posted 26 December 2012 Lets get behind the squad of players and lets see what pearson brings in jan I just hope he brings in a goalscorer and a ball winning midfield player - Nigel generally goes for players without Flair - hope he breaks that rule in the new year!! foxile5 Posted 27 December 2012 Share Posted 27 December 2012 Have we actually signed Wood then ? Was reported thusly on the Milwall website : http://www.newsatden.co.uk/10762-millwall-loanee-wood-agrees-to-sign-for-rivals-leicester.html Would be a bit weird of them to announce that if they weren't sure he had agreed to sign for us. They've cut his loan short too. Big fan of Woods, hope he does the beeswax here.
