purpleronnie Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 Now the whole tag of 'ultras' is a bit daft but the scheme seems a great one. The scot's seem to be more and more listening to what fans want. http://ptfc.co.uk/fa.../thistle_ultras Thistle Ultras (12-16 year olds) Free Season Ticket Dedicated Ultras Zone (Section 6). Singing is compulsory Thistle Ultras Banners at Home Games Thistle Ultras T-Shirt Exclusive Facebook page Elected Representative who will meet with the Fan Base on a regular basis Invite to exclusive Coaching Session Thistle Schools Ambassador competition To join then all you need to do is collect your Season Ticket, which is of course completely FREE for ALL under 16s. The Club policy is that all of our younger supporters will have their very own Season Ticket. If you don’t have yours yet you can order it now by e-mailing [email protected] and it can be collected at the next home game. If on Saturday, or any other home league game, they don’t have a Season Ticket, all under 16s are still guaranteed FREE entry. Go to the Ticket Booth, fill out a simple form, and they will be given a ticket for the game and a Season Ticket will be posted out to them.
Voll Blau Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 Great idea and fantastic to see a club doing something to encourage young lads to create atmosppere, but I'm with you - labeling them Ultras is ridiculous. You can't have a club-induced Ultras group.

Guest Bilo Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 Superb initiative, if only some of the schemes in Scotland could make it south of the border.
SystonFox Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 Why can't you call them ultras? It's just a name. What's in a name...
Guest Bilo Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
