davieG Posted 28 January 2013 Share Posted 28 January 2013 OS David Nugent and Chris WoodImage by: Plumb Images The City Fanstore is gearing up for a big half-term week this February, as we give supporters the chance to meet some of the big-name Foxes favourites at King Power Stadium. On Thursday 14 February, skipper Wes Morgan, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, leading scorer David Nugent and new signing Chris Wood will be on hand for photographs and autographs with the Blue Army between 1.30pm and 2.30pm. Leading the team of players into the City Fanstore is City captain Morgan, who has been a rock at the heart of the City’s back-line, providing a solid last line of defence for another of our half-term guests Kasper Schmeichel. Alongside Morgan, Schmeichel has been a part of the meanest defence in the npower Championship, making a number of vital saves, including that last-minute penalty save against Middlesbrough at King Power Stadium. As well as a mean defence, City’s success so far this season has also been based on some great attacking football and in Nugent and January recruit Wood the Foxes also have the fire-power to trouble the very best in the division. Players will be in attendance between 1.30pm and 2.30pm with queuing open until 2.15pm. Supporters arriving after this time may be refused entry, so arrive early to avoid disappointment. The City Fanstore will also have a host of great promotions on the day, includingFREE ‘Morgan’ ‘Schmeichel’ ‘Nugent’ and ‘Wood’ shirt printing on all replica shirts purchased on the day of the event, plus much more in-store. Players attending correct at the time of writing. All player appearances subject to change.
