Uncle Albert Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Why was he dropped last night? Will this put his future into doubt again, the media seem to think so. I think it was the right idea to have him on the bench last night, if Nani hadn't of been sent off then last 20 minutes United would of had someone to bring off the bench when the game would have proper opened up. If United had started RVP, Rooney and Welbeck then that would of left Hernandez the only sub who could of come on and looked like scoring.
FoxyPV Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Ferguson already explained that Welbeck is better defensively and that is why he was picked ahead of Rooney.
Uncle Albert Posted 6 March 2013 Author Posted 6 March 2013 Ferguson already explained that Welbeck is better defensively and that is why he was picked ahead of Rooney. Well Ferguson has explained nothing, mardy old toss pot.
foxfanazer Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Welbeck did a good job defensively and provided an out ball. RVP was non existent and Roomey looked wasteful when he came on. I think United should cash in on him soon
Guest MattP Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Greatest country greatest talent etc etc and in their biggest game of the season he doesn't even merit a game above Welbeck. Incredible to be honest.
Uncle Albert Posted 6 March 2013 Author Posted 6 March 2013 Does anyone think Ferguson is holding a grudge with Rooney from when he wanted all that money?
Guest MattP Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Does anyone think Ferguson is holding a grudge with Rooney from when he wanted all that money? Probably, I would when you consider the things he (allegedly) said regarding the players he had bought.
Darkon84 Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Does anyone think Ferguson is holding a grudge with Rooney from when he wanted all that money? Possibly, but maybe more like that he isn't even close to proving that he's worth those ridiculous wages, especially considering what a bellend he was about it. If he was playing better, and more consistantly, I think Fergie could let go a bit more.
Jaspa Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Rooney is utd's Waghorn. Often thought this myself, although the other way around ManU dropped their no.10 against Real Madrid, the team seemed to work well aswell even tho they seemed to be carrying RvP and Nani for large parts. Its just funny, if Nani hadnt have been sent off and Utd likely won, everyone would be saying what a great decision it was
