What if the owners leave

Recommended Posts

I can't see the Thais pulling the rug just yet. The fact is we know nothing or little about not just the family's fortune but King Power Holdings.

Obviously if success is not forthcoming and there is little prospect of it being achieved the situation will need to be addressed but that is not for us mere peasants to know. We'll get to hear once a decision has been made. In the meantime thank Mr Pearson for where we are, still outside the Premiership.

Rather worrying is that the king power stadium is going to be called the Leicester City stadium for the 2015 rugby world cup. Surely you would think the Thais would want to keep the name of the stadium king power as it is a global name and will be televised world wide? Are they possibly thinking of selling by 2015?

That is rather worrying...

All stadiums with naming rights have to change their name temporarily for the World Cup.

What Craig said.

The Ricoh Arena became the City of Coventry Stadium during the Olympics, the Allianz Arena became the FIFA World Cup Stadium Munich during the World Cup and changes it's name during the Champions League as well.

Sponsored stadium names have to go during tournaments.

Some people will worry about anything! All you had to do was look at the other names for the Rugby World Cup Stadiums to realise that!

The Manchester City Stadium

Brighton Community Stadium
