How much does it cost to replace iPad screen?

Go to the Apple store and see if they'll give you a replacement. Sometimes it's only a minimal administration charge and you get a brand new iPad!

Yeah do what DB11 said, you might get a new one for nothing or you might have to pay stupid money for the repair :/

When I smashed my I pad mini screen the apple store said I couldn't fix them as there a sealed unit. They quoted £190 to replace it. I didn't go with it in theend so I'm still using it with the smashed screen.

Hope it helps.

I bust mine at Christmas. Was going to claim on my house insurance but the excess was £75. I used a company called Mercom Gadget Repair in Poole (the insurance company recommended them). Sent the ipad away by registered post and got it back three days later fixed. Cost about £70 I think

Just an update on case anyone stumbles upon this thread in the future. I understand that Mercom Gadget Repair who I recommended in an earlier post are no longer trading and done people have lost devices returned to them. So do not use them, or certainly not on! Recommendation anyway
