Ricey Posted 6 August 2005 Posted 6 August 2005 Levein said: "I am a bit shell-shocked to be honest. I was speechless after the game because I couldn't for the life of me understand how we had lost that match 4-1."Encouragingly, I thought we played well today. It sounds a bit silly saying it now, but I really did think that we played well. Our defence was good until the last 10 minutes. I thought that we looked like the home side for long spells." On the second penalty, the Leicester boss added: "I think the referee has made an error. The ball has spun up and hit Johansson on the shoulder. It was such a critical decision at a crucial part of the match by a referee who otherwise I thought had a pretty good game. "It looked like we were going to win the game up until that point. But there was no excuse for our defending in the last 10 minutes. Their third and fourth goals were very poor on our part and that is certainly something we need to improve on. "We have now got a game on Tuesday against Stoke. This may sound silly, but I am not too worried going into the game." I totally agree with what he is saying and I'm glad he thinks like that.
davieG Posted 6 August 2005 Posted 6 August 2005 Provided we don't concede a penalty with 10 minutes to go.

Anish Posted 6 August 2005 Posted 6 August 2005 I agree with Levein. If we play like that again (minus the last 10 minutes) we should do well enough.
hill9753 Posted 6 August 2005 Posted 6 August 2005 The manager cant work out how we lost 4-1. It's simple, we did enough to share the points but lost because of complete indiscipline. The only good thing is that if Levein turns out to be the manager we hope he is he can do something about it . Meanwhile we start the season bottom of the league.
hill9753 Posted 6 August 2005 Posted 6 August 2005 No good burrying the head in the sand, something went wrong and it's got to be corrected if we are to improve.

rossporterlc Posted 7 August 2005 Posted 7 August 2005 warnock (the idiot) said it was a clear penalty, wtf! he should have gone to specsavers!
cisono Posted 7 August 2005 Posted 7 August 2005 warnock (the idiot) said it was a clear penalty, wtf! he should have gone to specsavers! 151820 Hehe :-)
lookwhaticando Posted 7 August 2005 Posted 7 August 2005 warnock (the idiot) said it was a clear penalty, wtf! he should have gone to specsavers! 151820 he is a bit of a tit, isn't he? He's a Wenger type - if it was against his team he didn't see it because the sun was in his eyes or something, if it was for his team it must have been legit.
Cat Burger Posted 7 August 2005 Posted 7 August 2005 The Nissa Peno and Bromby's goal touched almost exactly the same part of the arm...Warnock is a bloody nob rat.
