LanguedocFox Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Did anyone else see this? If he'd been a Man U fan, I might (uncharitably) have thought "serves you right". But you have to feel sorry for the poor sod, especially as he can't hang around for the next match. And he's still managing to smile.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Didn't he check the latest news, traffic and weather on his local BBC radio station?
Fox92 Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Travels 7000 miles for his first game. A tuesday night match against Liverpool Manchester United Crystal Palace! Great gesture by the football club though, inviting him in etc.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 I feel for the bloke, it's a big commitment to travel half way around the world when you probably know no one. My first trip to Leicester was a bit of a let down 0 wins from 8 games.

Guest MattP Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Imagine if this had happened at City. They would have marched him round to the club shop trying to convince him to get his next flight for a platinum game whilst conning him into the Keith Weller lounge for £55.
