Babylon Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 For me mate, it was a bit different. When I used to play football I kinda 'drifted' in games if that makes sense. Lost concentration. It would usually take the manager to give me a proverbial kick up the arse to get me going again. That would come via a shout or a glare.. As said above, Pearson clearly uses his assistants to issue instruction. Its not a biggy really is it and the most important thing is that its working for us at present. Probably why you aren't a professional footballer then.

Iwan is a Welshman Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 To be honest I don't really think a touch line motivator is as effective at that level. 1. The pros shouldn't need it 2. Surely half the pitch continues oblivious of what he's doing. You can't hear what one bloke is shouting from the other side of the pitch. 3. Like a £30,000 footballer does what someone shouts at them.
