Langston Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Just out of interest does anyone have any ideas to what they may think is the key to becoming an established prem team? Replacing quality with quality without overspending, which is how I imagine we'll be should Nigel remain at the helm in the Prem for a sustained period of time.
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Very good point DG and one I hadn't really thought about. Newcastle, for example, off the cuff I'd say they are 'an established Prem club' whereas, in reality I suppose they aren't. I guess its how you define 'eatablished' ie how many years does it take to be a club 'established' in the Prem. That's the question for me. Take City for instance. In my mind I would see us as an 'eatablished Prem club' after about 3 seasons (ish). Others will vary on that. Good point...

I would say after 3 years we would have established ourselves as a premier club, like Southampton and Swansea have. But we wouldn't be an established premiership club.
