Grandad. Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 He's back playing for Lancashire in the T20 Blast. It won't happen but I would bloody love him back in the England ODI set up but I won't get carried away. Fantastic to see him back playing Cricket, a genuine lad who the majority of the nation loves.

Voll Blau Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Went to watch him today. He looked sharp after a few overs, took threefer. Holed out at long off after three balls though which was disappointing. Never seen so many people at an ordinary club game.

Possibly, not sure he needs it though given all the media work he gets as well. Be nice to think he was playing because he was bored and loves playing the sport, but whether he is or not I don't know. Certainly seemed to be enjoying playing as an amateur today in an average club game. Chatting to the opposition, umpires and crowd like it was something he really missed doing.
