It was basically our youth team against a more experienced Norwich team including Philip Mulryne Youssef Safri & Malky Mackay. So well done from us, you wont get any rewards from Micky CITY: Conrad Logan, Liam Powell, Alan Sheehan, Richard Stearman, Jay Smedley, Stephen Dawson, Dominic Pearmain, Aarran Butcher, Tommy Wright, Richard Pacquette (Chris O'Grady 57), Ryan McGavigan (James Wesolowski 45). To be honest he had a pretty crap time at Brentford, which didn't justify him an automatic place in our first team. Now though, he's proving he can score goals - albeit just one game, maybe he will get his chance this season.

Cobbo Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 Tommy Wright's first was a cracker with his left foot from 25 yards, his second was a tap in on the line from a Paquette header. Other than his two goals Wright didn't do a lot and certainly doesn't warrant a first team call yet. I was most impressed with Dawson and James W . Dawson especially, works his arse off, gets stuck in and has good vision, distributing the ball well. He almost scored a cracker similar to Tommy's in the first half. He looks the most likely out of the players I saw tonight to make it at a decent level. (Stearman too, but he needs to bulk up a bit!) Pearmain was poo though, seems big headed too, thinks he's good when all he can do is control a ball and then either get tackled or pass it to the opposition (Jordan Stewart wannabe?) Ps. If you should attend any FNF fixtures in the near future, beware of annoying kids that could also do with their mouths being washed out with soap! Little fockers.

He looked sharp, confident running with the ball. I'm not sure what his best position is, but he looked decent on the left even though he's right footed. Paquette was not good. Occasionally may have been trying to impress too much by trying to get past someone when he could have just played the simple ball. He did have a big part in our second goal.
