However, this might be because we had gone there as away fans with Bochum and I got mugged with my Leicester flag stolen in the process. Canstatt is the area around the football stadium and a bit out of town, although the Mercedes Museum is right next door which is worth a look around. Found the nightlife in town to be pretty shite to be honest, although we were there in midweek so it might be different at the weekends. As with everywhere in Germany it's a piece of piss to get around on the tram network, which I can't recall ever shelling out any money for.

Despite my criticisms of the place and its flag stealing ultras, the Stuttgarter Hofbrau beer is a decent drop and like I say, the Mercedes Museum is well worth an hour or two of anyone's time.
