New rule whereby the team doctor has the final word as to whether a player continues or not, makes sense in principle. But I really think their ought to be independent 'match doctors' rather than one for each team. Even as a professional doctor, being closely affiliated with the teams and playing staff is going to put them under a lot of pressure to let them carry on.
