I wouldn't say he put in a 'MOTM' performance though. How on earth didn't Morgan, Moore or even King get higher ratings is beyond me.

Baines was class.

I think you could have given MOTM to Nasmith, Baines, Wes, Moore or Mahrez. Naismith probably got it because he's scored which is always the way unfortunately. King had a good game but in a game where Everton so clearly dominated us for the first 45 I don't think a neutral can give him MOTM.

I would actually say Pienaar was their MOTM. I suppose that's just my opinion though.

No that's a good shout. In fact after their first goal the bloke behind me said 'that's the first thing Pienaar has done all game, he's been s**t.'

I had to turn round and argue the case that in fact Pienaar had been killing us all half! Never ceases to amaze me how undiplomatic and biased home fans can be.

Schmeichel 6.5 - Did most things well. Hard to judge first goal, may have been better staying on line.

De Laet 6 - Overran by an exceptional opposition and was given a scandalous amount of help by our right sided winger.
Morgan 8.5 - MOM - Handled Lukaku with ease. That says it all.
Moore 8 - Impressed, certainly looks well upto it at this level.
Konchesky 7 - Very good game. Solid and dependable, could tell he was one of the ones who had played at this level before, knew what to expect.

Mahrez 7 - Have to work out a way of relieving him of defensive responsibilities and getting him on the ball in the final third.
King 7.5 - Excellent game, can barely remember him giving the ball away.
Drinkwater - N/A
Knockaert 5 - Probably our worst player, looked nervy and miles off the pace, underhit passing nearly cost us on more than one occasion.

Ulloa 7 - Great start, smart reaction finish and did some good things.
Nugent 6.5 - Did ok but think Vardy will be taking his place upon his return.

Subs:
Hammond 7 - Thought he deputised brilliantly for Drinkwater.
Schlupp 6 - Certainly had an impact but where the hell do we play him? Horrific finish that would have left an under 10 red faced.
Wood 7 - Can't ask any more of him than that.

Man of the Match...Morgan...awesome. Moore was very good with Morgan at the back. Surely Roy Hodgson saw how good our centre backs were!!!..come on Roy give big Wes a call up!!

 

Well done Andy King in the middle along with Hammond & Mahrez. Kingy never gave up!!

 

Ulloa looks a handful, I like the look of him!! Nugent never gave up the chase...all in all we were worthy of the point as we never gave up!!
