Finnaldo Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 ?????? any chance of a constructive crit ? and why unfortunately ? i'm not sad if i'm wrong so i doubt anyone else would be. Just because James had a superb season last year doesn't mean he should retain his place instantly. Places should be given on merit and so far Hammond has conducted himself fantastically. If James trains hard and takes his opportunity when it's given to him he'll be back in the first XI, but by no means should we hand him his place just because it's James.

I didn't say we should drop Hammond. I just said MJ is a better player and will do well in the PL. Hammond looked like he had more than cramp when he hobbled off and I wonder if he will be fit next week.
