Banner ad covering sign-in window

The past few times I have come to sign in to FT, I've had a banner advertisement pop-up. Fair enough, I know the forum needs income, but recently the ads have been covering the sign-in window - and the ads are impossible to close.

 

It's not a massive issue - I just click the sign-in button and I am taken to a second sign-in page without an ad. It is, however, a minor irritant, and I wonder if it is possible to get the ad servers to change the position of the ad.
