He had a very good game yesterday he has looked out of his depth up until yesterday , but maybe his confidence will rocket back now

Interesting on these stats bellow we had 4 of the 5 top chance creators , but only Drinkwater made it into the top 5 of the passing completing list ....I think that points to a continued issue with confidence and players not adjusting to the quality of pressing in the premiership it's beginning to look like we have an issue with holding onto the ball

Top Leicester V Spurs list

CHANCES CREATED

Riyad Mahrez Leicester 5

Daniel Drinkwater Leicester 3

Leonardo Ulloa Leicester 3

Jeffrey Schlupp Leicester 2

Danny Rose Spurs 2

COMPLETED PASSES

Nabil Bentaleb Spurs 55

Daniel Drinkwater Leicester 53

Christian Eriksen Spurs 38

Federico Fazio Spurs 38

Jan Vertonghen Spurs 37

INTERCEPTIONS

Danny Rose Spurs 5

Daniel Drinkwater Leicester 4

Kyle Walker Spurs 3

Danny Simpson Leicester 3

Jan Vertonghen Spurs 2

We've definitely had a problem keeping hold of the ball in other games, but we were pretty decent at it in the Spurs game. The pass completion stat is a bit misleading, as our other centre mids only played half a game each (King/James), I imagine if you added their stats together then they would have made it in over the course of 90 minutes. Also, a lot of Vertonghen and Fazio's passes would have been short 5 yard passes to each other, messing around at the back and wasting time, whereas our centre backs weren't going to do that, as we were chasing the game and couldn't afford to mess about, we needed to move the ball forwards and attack. BBC stats had possession down as 50/50, which is pretty good, other games this season we've been as low as 40% at times.

EDIT: More stats for yesterdays game

Looks like our pass completion stats are pretty much as good as Spurs were on the whole, the worst passers in the game were Chadli and Paulinho (if you exclude Vardy, who only made 3 passes which were all crosses which no-one got on the end of)
