Matt Posted 30 August 2005 Posted 30 August 2005 Big Brother star Makosi Musambasi faces being deported from Britain as immigration officials assess whether she has broken the terms of her visa.The 24-year-old Zimbabwean was questioned by police after she was initially stopped in a car on a driving matter. She was quizzed at Staines Police Station in Middlesex after it was understood she was not wearing a passenger seatbelt. Makosi, of High Wycombe, Bucks, had permission to work in the UK as a cardiac nurse but left her hospital job to enter the Big Brother reality show. Speculation was rife during her time on the Channel 4 programme that she faced being booted out of the Big Brother house and the country over alleged visa irregularities. A spokesman for Surrey Police said: "Police stopped a car on the M25 near Stoke D'Abernon on a driving matter. "A 24-year-old Zimbabwean was then questioned by the immigration services, which is now dealing with the matter." Makosi, who finished third in the reality show, told The Sun newspaper that she felt "betrayed" after she was released from custody. She said: "I don't know what crime I've committed. I'd love to keep living in England but just don't know what's happening. I feel I've been used for entertainment and now am being betrayed." It is understood she reapplied for a visa after she was voted out of the Big Brother house. A Home Office spokesman said any overseas national who quit the job for which they were granted a work permit would be quizzed by immigration officials as a matter of course. Makosi is understood to have reapplied for a visa. If the Home Office turns down her application, she will have 10 days to appeal against the decision. More lies from Makosi then - I sure I read in the paper the other day Makosi had been quoted saying she would return to working as a nurse, and also didn't she say that when she had left the BB House she would return home to she her sick mum? Afterall Makosi was doing BB for her mother GO HOME MAKOSI! When she is deported or when they are trying to deport her no doubt the "you're being rascist" card will be throw Anywhere else and Makosi would have been chucked out of the country whilst in BB - Not in England

I've even been out with better looking girls who lived their lives and never rated a mention in the national press. It's a commentary on our times that while arseholes like Mugabe are conductingtheir own form of scorched earth policy, people are being tortured here, there andeverywhere, the Russians are doing military training with the Chinese, and God knows how many people are starving or impoverished, we go on about some bird called Makosi. Walk her in jeans and jumper down any street and she'd barely rate a mention.

In today's Sun newspaper, Deputy TV Editor EMMA COX weighs up the pros and cons. Why should we support her appeal, the only people that will support her appeal are the do-gooders and the "You're being rascist because i'm gonna use my skin colour to my advantage" people - Any other country and you'd be out why are people questioning if she should stay or not, if she was working whilst here or under a visa her I might have another view she's not - she can piss off
